CHLAN GRANT

Bio

Artist Chlan Grant lives in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Chlan is a Contemporary Painter. She creates modern style plexiglass paintings. Her process in creating plexiglass art is unconventional. She starts with an idea then she prepares the plexi. She is inspired by painting to music using acrylic paints and mediums as well as etching the glass, cutting & layering, adding neon, collage, painting both sides of the glass – the ideas are endless.

Chlan sells her artwork in prominent art shows at Art Basel in Miami, Art Expo New York, Art San Diego as well as commission artwork including many private and corporate collections in Canada and USA. In addition, Chlan has taught art to grade school students over the past 16 years. She has volunteered and raised over $500,000 for schools in Canada.
